UPDATE - SCHOLARSHIPS APPLICATIONS ARE WELCOME

Applications are now open for 4 scholarships fully covering the registration fee.

Eligibility. The scholarships are reserved for PhD students who are members of the “Analytical Chemistry” Division or the “Chemistry for Technologies” Division of the “Società Chimica Italiana” (SCI).
How to apply. Applicants should send their application by email to ramss@dia.units.it. The application must include: 1) a single PDF file containing the applicant’s Curriculum Vitae; 2) a self-declaration confirming current PhD student status and membership in one of the two SCI Divisions sponsoring the scholarships.
Deadline. Applications must be received by March 27.

We inform prospective applicants that, due to organizational reasons related to the hands-on session, the Organizing Committee has decided to limit the number of participants to 20. We therefore encourage interested candidates to submit their application as soon as possible.

Welcome to the Raman Spectroscopy Summer School: Principles and Applications

This three-day event offers an engaging learning experience focused on the fundamentals as well as advanced applications of Raman spectroscopy. Designed primarily for PhD students, it is also open to postdoctoral researchers, senior researchers and professionals interested in exploring or deepening their understanding of Raman techniques.

Participants will have the opportunity to attend lectures by leading experts, engage in hands-on sessions with real instruments — from hand-held Raman analyzers to high-end Raman microscopes — and even analyze their own samples.
Short flash presentations will allow participants to share their research in a friendly and interactive environment.

The Summer School will also feature networking opportunities, including coffee breaks and a social dinner in Trieste’s lively city center.

Our aim is to create a stimulating environment where young researchers and experts can share knowledge, exchange ideas, and develop new skills in Raman spectroscopy — one of the most versatile analytical techniques in modern science.
